Healthy school meal target missed in England

The Telegraph reports that Engligh schools have failed to meet Government healthy school meal targets. The target was that there would be a 4% increase in the number of children eating healthier options but the reverse was the case in secondary schools with a decrease of 0.5%  in the number of healthy school meals. The figure was up by 2.3% in primary schools. However, over three million   children are eating school dinners – a rise of 50,000 on last year.
