Hospital superbugs: an update
Seven weeks ago I wrote about hospital superbugs and the various issues concerning their continued presence in hospitals. A report published yesterday in the Telegraph highlighted that the growth of the numbers of people infected could have been due to over prescription of antibiotics. The Independent also report that a drug currently undergoing human trials could prove effective in the battle against MRSA. The drug could be applied to the nostril in the form of a gel. Follow the link to find out more.
