Global food prices fell last month

The BBC reports that world food prices fell in April. This is the first fall in the last 15 months. The figures have been produced by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO). The FAO food price index fell to 216.7 from 217.0 in March. This compares with last years figure for April of 141.7. Follow the link to find out more.
