Acts of kindness

I seek to be a kind person. Kahil Gibran once said that “Tenderness and kindness are not signs of weakness and despair, but manifestations of strength and courage.” I have had many strangers bestow upon me great acts of kindness when they didn’t have to, often really putting themselves out.

I don’t normally catalogue my acts of kindness, but I did help two women who had run out of fuel, by going to a garage and getting some fuel and bringing it back for them this week. Kindness is contagious – the more considerate you are, the more considerate people are with you.
